Sagamiya Foods, Tofu Manufacturer in Japan, Joins Venture with Minority Stake

("Calbee"), a global leader in snacks and food products, has acquired a majority stake in the company. The acquisition accelerates the growth of Calbee's international and Health and Food businesses.

As part of this venture, Sagamiya Foods Co., Ltd. ("Sagamiya"), a leading tofu manufacturer in Japan, has also acquired a minority stake in Hodo. Sagamiya will contribute technical support to further strengthen the venture's growth plans.
