BIOQUAL’s Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $0.50 per share for shareholders of record on October 7, 2024, payable on October 28, 2024. This is the twenty-third dividend declared by BIOQUAL.
BIOQUAL, Inc. Announces a Reduction in Workforce
This week BIOQUAL, Inc. (OTC: BIOQ) announced a reduction in workforce (RIF) of approximately 10% of its employees effective Monday, September 9, 2024. The RIF was a necessary cost-cutting measure due to the decrease in revenue and profitability that BIOQUAL has experienced in the last year. In a post-COVID-19 environment, the Company has seen a significant drop in the demand for their services due to the development of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics and needed to realign its cost structure accordingly. BIOQUAL does not expect the RIF to impact the current services it provides or to hamper its business prospects for the future.

BIOQUAL, Inc., Announces Promotion of Mr. Charles (Chris) C. Kirk, Jr., CPA. to the Position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Kirk has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles in finance and accounting departments for both Government contracting and services-oriented companies as well as in the public accounting sector. Mr. Kirk has served as Director of Finance and Accounting for BIOQUAL over the past year and has a degree in Accounting/Finance from the University of Maryland.

BIOQUAL, Inc., today announced that Dave Newcomer will retire from his role as Chief Financial Officer effective June 3, 2022. Mr. Newcomer will remain in his current position until then to support with the transition of his responsibilities to his successor. Additionally, on April 26, 2022, to continue to take advantage of his extensive company knowledge, and to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors, the Board unanimously voted to add Mr. Newcomer to the Board.
